Contrary to the Liv-ex Fine Wine 50, where all but Lafite have moved in tandem over the last few years, the wines in the Right Bank Super 50 have tended to tread their own paths. As you can see, over the last nine years Ausone has seen the largest performance fluctuations, but has been unable to return to its 2008 peak, and is currently at a six-year low. While Pin and Petrus are pushing ahead, Cheval Blanc has struggled to climb, and Lafleur has fallen relatively steadily since mid-2008 to end up as the Right Bank 50’s worst performer.
