Today marks four months since the Liv-ex 50 Index dropped to 293.10 – its lowest level for over two and a half years. Since then the index has been steadily climbing, and yesterday’s level of 324.84 marked a 10.8% rise since its November low point.
Of the wines in the Liv-ex 50 Index, 44 saw price increases in February, with Mouton Rothschild 2006 and Haut Brion 2004 rising 16.2% and 9.1% respectively.
